Wreaths Across America
This past December my family and I had the honor of participating in Wreaths Across America. The mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember our brave soldiers and service men and women to gave their lives for our country, honor those who serve in the armed forces and teach our youth the value of freedom. We visited local cemeteries and placed evergreen wreaths on the graves of solders. It was a particularly snowy day. My daughters helped to brush the snow off of the graves to reveal their names. When a wreath is laid down upon a grave they were instructed to say the name of the soldier out loud. It is an extremely emotional sight to think that my daughters live in freedom because of brave people they have never met. It's humbling to say the least, and it reminded me how truly fortunate we are. By saying their name out loud we help to make sure that their sacrifice is not forgotten and their selfless actions live on. Tax Season
With the new year comes tax season. Keep in mind Traditional IRA, Roth IRA and SEP IRA contributions for 2025 can be made prior to filing your 2025 tax return. Dog Gone Good Show
My family drove through the Lake Metropark Farmpark Christmas light display this year. They convinced our dogs, Stormi and Nibbles to come. They were impressed. Nice job, Lake Farmpark!
